Tesco Gift Card

The Tesco gift voucher is redeemed at the checkout in Tesco stores in Slovakia that display the gift voucher acceptance symbol. It cannot be used for online orders (Tesco Potraviny domov), and electronic vouchers are not accepted at Tesco petrol stations.

In-Store Redemption:

1. Bring your voucher (printed or on your phone) to a Tesco store in Slovakia.
2. Shop for any goods available in that store. Your basket total must be equal to or higher than the value of the voucher.
3. At a staffed checkout, hand the voucher to the cashier before paying.
4. At a self-service checkout, go to the payment step and select "poukážky a kupóny" (vouchers and coupons), then scan or enter the voucher.
5. The voucher value is deducted from your total. Pay any remaining amount with another payment method.

The voucher must be used in full in a single purchase: no change is given and no remaining balance is carried over, so make sure your purchase is worth at least the voucher's value. You can use more than one voucher in the same transaction. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or returned, and items paid for with a voucher are not eligible for the "Nevhodný nákup" return service.
