Ortel's Smart World options are priced to match the amounts sold here: 12.49 euros for Smart World S+, 17.49 euros for M+, 22.49 euros for L+ and 32.49 euros for XL+, each running 28 days. Ortel deducts the price of your option from your credit in advance, and renews it automatically every 28 days as long as there is enough credit on the account.

Ortel's terms let you use the whole balance on your credit account for a period of up to 6 months from the moment it is transferred. Every top-up of 5 euros or more starts a new 6-month period for the entire balance on the account.

Type *101# into your phone and press the call key. The balance is also shown in the Ortel Mobile app and in the MeinOrtel customer portal.

At the end of each validity period Ortel adds a two-month phase of passive reachability, during which incoming calls and text messages still arrive. You can top up during that phase to start a new period. If no top-up is made within it, the SIM is deactivated and the contract ends without any notice being needed.

Ortel does not accept crypto, but you can top up your smartphone on Bitrefill using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

A mobile airtime top-up should be added to a phone number within a few seconds to minutes. Sometimes, there may be a small delay on the part of the mobile operator, but rest assured, we will send you an email confirmation as soon as your top-up has been processed successfully.
