O2 PIN Refill

O2 sells its prepaid top-up vouchers in exactly 15, 20 and 30 euro values, the three amounts offered here. Its prepaid tariffs cost 9,99, 14,99 and 19,99 euro per four weeks, so 15 euro covers one four-week cycle of the first or second, 20 euro covers one cycle of the largest, and 30 euro covers two cycles of the 9,99 euro tariff with change left over.

O2 gives you six months from each top-up to spend your credit, and every new top-up restarts that six-month period for the whole balance.

Dial *101# free of charge from your O2 phone, or *105# instead if you are on one of the o2 Freikarte S, M or L tariffs. Dialling *102# shows how long your credit is valid, and the free short code 5667 works on every prepaid tariff.

Your SIM stays active as long as you use it at least every six months, either by topping up or through something chargeable such as a call; otherwise the claim to the number lapses. With no credit you can still receive calls and SMS, and a booked pack is paused rather than lost and reactivates on your next top-up.

O2's free 5667 voice menu lets you manage a prepaid card around the clock. To reach a person, call the O2 prepaid line on 0176 88 85 52 82, open Monday to Friday 07:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 18:00 on working days; O2 charges it according to your own tariff's conditions rather than free.
