Kobo gift cards are redeemed on your Kobo account and can be used for eBooks and audiobooks on Kobo.com. You'll need to sign in to a Kobo account, or create one, before you start.
  • Adding the value to your Kobo account
  1. Go to kobo.com/redeem and sign in to your Kobo account.
  2. Enter your gift card PIN or voucher code in the empty field.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Review your gift card details, then click Confirm.
  5. Click Browse now to start shopping. The value is transferred from the card to your Kobo account balance.
  • Redeeming during checkout on Kobo.com
  1. Sign in to your Kobo account and go to Kobo.com.
  2. Find the eBook or audiobook you want, click its cover, then click Buy.
  3. At checkout, click Add gift card and select the type of gift card you're redeeming.
  4. Enter the gift card PIN in the PIN field and click Apply.
  5. Click Complete Purchase.

Mobile app:

  1. Open the Kobo Books app and find the eBook or audiobook you want.
  2. Tap Buy. You'll be directed to the secure Kobo web checkout to finish the purchase, where you can apply your gift card or your Kobo account credit.
  3. Sync the app afterwards to see your new title.

The Kobo Books app for iOS does not support in-app purchases, so buy your eBook or audiobook on Kobo.com and then sync the app.

Any amount left over after a purchase is kept as Store Credit in your Kobo account and is applied automatically to your next eBook or audiobook purchase. Only one gift card can be applied per purchase, and gift cards cannot be used for eReaders, accessories, or pre-orders.

Check your remaining balance on Kobo.com under My Account, then Account Settings, then Payment Information, where the amount is shown as Store Credit Balance.

If the PIN is hard to read on an ePay or FastCard branded card: an upper-case "P" may need to be entered as a lower-case "p", and a character that looks like "9" may be the letter "q".
