These Engen vouchers are delivered as a WiCode and are redeemable at most but not all locations. If the Engen is a '1Stop' location, then it should work. Other Engen '1Plus' stations are dependent on the franchise owner, most do work but we cannot guarantee this as franchise owners manage their systems along with their tech provider BCX. It's best to ask in store before buying the code.

Steps to paying with a Wicode:

1. Tell the petrol attendant that you are paying inside and note the pump number to tell the teller (for your very first purchase, you may want to test with a small item from the shop rather than a tank of fuel)
2. The teller should follow the following steps:
   1. Complete scanning items to find the total amount & enter loyalty cards
   2. Go to Other Tender
   3. Mobile
   4. Enter WiCode via scanner or by manually entering the code
3. When the cashier goes to 'Mobile' in the steps above, the square scanning device should have a small light indicating that the system is working.
4. There are very small number of Engens still having technical issues. This is now quite rare but if the store manager is available, they should contact their service provider BCX for support with getting the wicode integration working again.

Protip: When using Bitrefill in-store, load funds onto your Bitrefill account rather than making an onchain payment at the till. That will ensure that the payment step is instant and you can checkout with the exact amount down to the cent without having to do an additional wallet payment while people are waiting in the queue behind you.
