  • They cannot be used in B&Q stores outside the Republic of Ireland, including Jersey and Guernsey, or through B&Q call centres.
  • If the gift card balance is less than the purchase amount, the remaining balance can be paid using another accepted payment method.
  • Unused balances remain available for future purchases and do not need to be spent in a single transaction.
  • Gift cards loaded in Euros (€) can be used online at DIY.ie. Certain card types, including some corporate cards and cards loaded in Pounds Sterling (£), may not be accepted online.
  • A gift card will expire if it is not used for a purchase, top-up, or balance enquiry during any period of five consecutive years. Any remaining balance will then be removed.
  • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Refunds for purchases made with a gift card are generally issued as a credit note rather than cash.
  • Gift cards should be treated like cash. Lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized-use cards are generally not replaced or reimbursed.
